Since government rest houses have extremely limited rooms (only 10-15 per zone) and permits are booked worldwide, booking slots fill up within minutes of opening. Please plan and send your ID details at least 45 to 90 days in advance.
To preserve the ecological balance and avoid attracting wild predators, only vegetarian meals are served in the forest canteens. Carrying or consuming alcohol, non-vegetarian food, and smoking is strictly banned inside the reserve gates.
These lodges are located deep inside the protected reserve. Electricity is solar-powered and available only during fixed evening hours (6:00 PM to 10:00 PM). Mobile network signals are extremely weak or absent, allowing you to truly unplug.
You must enter the forest gates before 3:30 PM. Walking outside the rest house premises after sunset is strictly prohibited for safety reasons, as wild animals, including tigers and elephants, roam freely around the fenced campus.
